(+91)8408 833 776Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar has been the powerhouse who’s taken Amod Group of Industries to the next level since taking over from Mr. R.M. Sukhatankar in 1996. Armed with skills to take on the most complex molding jobs and handle board meetings, he is guided by powers of immense sharpness of mind, a patient demeanor, and a parenting figure for everyone around. He in the true sense has become the face of Amod Group of Industries that leads by example.
Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar was born in Mumbai and since early childhood had an interest in arts. He however studied Production Engineering from Mumbai University in 1996. He soon got a job in the Tool Design & Manufacturing department of PMP Auto where he learnt and showed immense potential in the Design department. During this period, he also took valuable experience of managing a production shop which would assist him later in life. After working and gaining sufficient knowledge in Tool Design & Manufacturing he worked at Amod Group at the Thermoset Production Shop for two years. During this vital period, Mr. Chinmay was given a free hand to run the production unit but was guided occasionally by Mr. R.M. Sukhatankar in expert areas. After seeing all the efforts being put in the shop floor and gaining life lessons while working with the real assets of the group, it’s employees, Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar was brought in to oversee the general management of the group. With an experienced mentor to guide, Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar showed immense clarity of thought and ambition and since then has become the driving force of the group leading in areas of Quality Management, Strategic Overseas Partnerships, Expansions and increasing the production capacity of the Group as a whole.
Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar has won many awards and honors for Amod Group of Industries for Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and had been also awarded by Navbharat Times in 2017 for the best SME in the region. Mr. Chinmay Sukhatankar apart from being an active member in board rooms and strategic meetings, is a lover of fine arts and music. He’s a follower of music legend Shankar Mahadevan. He also loves pottery and paintings. He has been a shot-put athlete too. He is inspired by the works of Achyut Godbole and Akshay Kumar Jha. His love for art and creativity guided him to also start an Art Gallery and Restaurant called Chintamani, that houses tremendous artifacts and has become a place for art lovers to come and seek solitude.
